Why is writing Who-Fic so damn hard?
I have three in the works, and all of them just...alternately kill me and make me proud. One of them is a gift for ![[info]](http://p-stat.livejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif) orange_crushed so I very dearly want it to be uuuhhhhmazing (because she is, you know) and the others are just because I am crazy self-indulgent.
Writing in other fandoms is nowhere near as difficult for me. I mean, I started a Buffy/Angel the other day and it was like jumping back into the saddle. Gah.
In other news, I am not sick any longer. I have been TERRIBLE at keeping up with the flist, so if you have news, links, anything, please share. I dearly miss all of you, and ZOMG, that new cinematic trailer! The end! SQUEE! Also...Torchwood. Oh the joys of a new(ish) fandom...I think I might be a Tosh/Owen fan. This worries me.

I cannot get any fics out, and I am over a month late on people's birthday/just cause fics. Curse you fic muse! I've also been in a angsty!Bridge mood lately and of course everyone decides that now would be a great time to write Sky or Jack fics. BOO! Its all about Me Me Me-cakes!
Hi to you. I've been bad too about updating LJ. Reading all my flist but there never seems time to sit and write a worthwhile entry apart from got up, ate, wrote fic and went to bed. Not particularly riveting!
Oh my God, I am so with you right now. I have this massive Family of Blood AU going on; I have the start and some middle and the end, but I cannot for the life of me find this one good-sized chunk in the middle. I am so blah and lost it's not even funny. It's good to have high standards, but getting stuck is a bitca. ;)

I kind of know what you mean. I *love* D/R, but I find it harder to write for them than I did my other ships. I think it's because so much of their canon is so perfect.
