Headed back home for the weekend. I leave tomorrow morning. Memorial service is on Sunday, and then I should be back in NYC on Monday afternoon. So once a very long time ago (3 months I think) I decided to see if I could learn to vid... so I taught myself how using Windows Movie Maker (a cursed piece of software) and this video was the result. It is only my second attempt at making a video and I posted it here once, but then I deleted the post for other reasons and so now I am resposting it. It has gotten some nice comments on youtube so I thought that I would post it here again. I think it has some good bits, especially since its a begginner's attempt. I now have Sony Vegas 8 (and better access to clips) nd so I'm working on more copmlicated videos with better transitions and some flashy color tricks... but vidding takes forever so don't look for the results anytime soon. Zoom Airlines has suspended operations!
There goes my cheap budget ticket. With less than four weeks til deprture, I have to get a refund (through my credit card company?! how?!) and book a flight ASAP which will doubtless cost me more than twice what this one way cost me. I am bummed seriously.
I am still giving notice tomorrow though.

I've more or less committed myself to smutty_claus, even though I already have a shitload of things to finish, on top of moving and actively looking for a job, since I'm now out an unemployment check. Eh, c'est la vie. I'll have fun writing it, I'm sure. One of these days I'm going to have to make an active list of things left to complete, lol. Maybe. One day. Probably not. I'm lazy. |

Hello, new to this community although I've posted some Doctor/Master stuff on best_enemies, slash_lords and dw_slash.
Did anyone notice the Writer's Block that asked "if you were stranded on an island with a fictional character, who would it be and why?"
I'd never usually write myself into a fanfic because of a fear of Mary Sues, but the Writer's Block prompted me to write this:

Have crawled on hands and knees back from day shopping with 2 14 year olds. I reckoned we walked roughly 3 miles up and down Bluewater shopping mall. Some total of purchases - one bracelet (mine), one small grey wrap round cardigan, a pair of jeans and a brown leather handbag. Oh and some glitter eye shadow. All of which could probably have been purchased far cheaper elsewhere.
Still, it is an experience and I now know an awful lot about teenage fashion - what's in and what's out - which will probably all be relevant for at least a fortnight!
And tomorrow it is Camden Market, Covent Garden, and going to see Grease on stage. I just want to sleep! Write? Update stories? You must be joking!
